1 Tea Color Card

Tea Color Card

The color card below reflects the results of dyeing common black tea. Both white and natural grey wool were dyed for comparison. It is interesting to note that white wools from different breeds of sheep do not show as much of a difference as with coffee, but adding a little bit of grey to otherwise white wool, as seen in the two Cheviot samples, can result in a marked difference.

All samples on this card were dyed together in the same dyebath.
